Thomas J. Byrne has deep expertise in sovereign debt in emerging and advanced markets, and global economic and financial policy, drawing on more than three decades of front-line market experience and academic engagement. Mr. Byrne has a strong record of building trusted relationships across governments and corporate stakeholders at both working and senior levels throughout his career. Mr. Byrne spent the majority of his career at Moody's Ratings, where he was repeatedly recognized with firm-wide awards for “extraordinary contributions to strategic initiatives” and for producing “timely, insightful, and relevant research.” He applies that experience in his adjunct professor and faculty advisory roles at Columbia University and Georgetown University.
