Overview

Seung hwan Park handles a wide range of matters, including managing important criminal cases from the initiation of investigations to their conclusion, as well as criminal trials, corporate compliance, and internal investigations. His main practice areas include trade secret protection and technology leakage, intellectual property rights, money laundering and criminal proceeds recovery, capital markets, fair trade, and serious industrial accidents.

Mr. Park graduated from the College of Law at Seoul National University (2000) and completed the 32nd Judicial Research and Training Institute program (2003). After serving as a Judge Advocate in the Korean Navy, he was appointed as a prosecutor at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office in 2006. He subsequently held key positions at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, the Ministry of Justice, and the Office of the President, where he worked in major investigative and planning departments. After becoming a Senior Prosecutor, he served as Head of the Criminal Proceeds Recovery Division at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, Head of the Criminal Proceeds Recovery Department at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, and Head of the Patent Crime Investigation Department at the Daejeon District Prosecutors' Office. Through these roles, he accumulated extensive investigative experience in the areas of trade secret protection and technology leakage, intellectual property, money laundering, and criminal proceeds recovery.

Mr. Park was also regarded as a representative "planning expert" within the prosecution, with deep knowledge of international anti-corruption affairs, media response, and legal policy, having been dispatched to the World Bank's Stolen Asset Recovery Initiative, and having served as the Spokesperson for the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office and the Head of the Policy Planning Division at the Ministry of Justice. From 2024 to 2025, he served as the First Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, overseeing warrant reviews for police applications as well as a wide range of criminal divisions, including those handling information security, food and drug matters, unauthorized fundraising, and intellectual property. For approximately four months, he also acted as the Acting Chief Prosecutor of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, supervising all investigative divisions under the First through Fourth Deputy Chiefs.
