Jin Hoon Yoon has been primarily responsible for patent work in the field of electrical engineering and electronics since joining Bae, Kim & Lee IP in 2025.

Mr. Yoon handles a wide range of patent-related work, including drafting patent specifications, responding to office actions, handling third-party submissions, oppositions, trials, appeals before the Patent Court, and more. He is also frequently involved in litigation matters such as invalidation and scope confirmation trials as well as patent infringement trials. His main areas of expertise include electronics, computers, AI and mechanics.

Mr. Yoon graduated from Seoul National University with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering in 2002 and studied at Hitotsubashi University in Japan as a Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholar. He is a qualified patent attorney in Korea and Japan, and an attorney at law in Illinois, U.S.. He previously served as an examiner at the Information and Communications Technology Examination Bureau of KIPO and has worked at patent firms in both Japan and Germany. With this background, Mr. Yoon makes significant contributions in the acquisition and protection of Korean IP rights for both domestic and international clients.
