Seonghoon Jeon is an economist with a background in both theory and practice in competition policy and industrial regulation, and has served as president of the Korea Academic Society of Industrial Organization and a non-standing commissioner of the Korea Fair Trade Commission. As a professor of economics for more than 30 years, Mr. Jeon has published many academic papers in prestigious domestic and international journals, and in practice, he has submitted influential economic analysis reports and provided expert testimony to the KFTC and the courts in various antitrust cases involving mergers, abuse of dominance, cartels, and unfair internal transactions of major domestic and foreign companies.
