Kyuchan Shim engages in advising on the overall defense industry at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC. Mr. Shim served in the Navy and the Defense Security Command for 34 years, and retired as a reserve brigadier general in December 2023.

Mr. Shim performed various defense duties until he retired from public office as the chief of the Inspection Office of the Navy Headquarters, and in particular, he is able to provide professional advice for clients based on his experience in developing defense industry policies and systems, managing conflicts in the process of acquiring and operating weapons, providing support for overseas defense exports, and supporting security for defense contractors while working in the defense industry for many years.
