Since joining Bae, Kim & Lee LLC in 2010, Yoonhyoung Jeong has been actively advising in the corporate, M&A and financial sectors; and has worked extensively with major domestic and international private equity funds, multinational corporations, financial services firms, and institutional investors in a broad range of general corporate and transactional matters, including inbound and outbound cross-border mergers and acquisitions, foreign-direct investments, private equity transactions, and corporate restructurings, among other areas of practice. 

Throughout his career, Mr. Jeong has represented major domestic and multinational corporations, financial services firms, and institutional investors such as Hana Financial Group, Shinhan Financial Group, Samsung Group, Shinsegae Group, LIG Group, LF Group, Ardian Group, Yuanta Financial Group, Fubon Financial Group; and top domestic and foreign private equity funds such as The Carlyle Group, Softbank Vision Fund, Baring Private Equity Asia, and Macquarie Capital Korea in high profile domestic and cross-border transactions relating to securities and asset purchases, joint ventures, divestments, spin-offs, and corporate restructurings. His many areas of expertise include a range of financial industries sectors such as banking, insurance, securities trading/brokerage and fintech.

Mr. Jeong received his LL.B. from Korea University Law School in 2004 and his LL.M. from Duke University School of Law in 2017. He was admitted to the Korean and New York Bar, and also worked as a visiting attorney at White & Case's Seoul office in 2017-2018.
