Jiyeon Park advises on broadcasting and telecommunication regulations, legislation, entertainment, sports, internet, and e-commerce and represents clients in administrative, constitutional, and media litigations involving broadcasting, communications, and media, based on her abundant experience in major cases in the areas of broadcasting, telecommunication, and media.

Ms. Park currently serves as a counselor of the Ministry of Science and ICT, a member of the Administrative Appeals Commission, the Media Diversity Committee, and the Broadcasting-Advertisement Balanced Development Committee of the Korea Communications Commission, and an arbitrator for IT of the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board.

Ms. Park studied Law and Chinese Classics Education at Sungkyunkwan University. She was admitted to the Korean Bar and completed the 31st Judicial Research and Training Institute course. She earned an LL.M. degree from the University of Chicago. Articles she wrote include: “Review of Legislation in Respect of Proposed Amendment to the Broadcasting Act Intended to Regulate Issues related to Outsourcing Production” and “Analysis of Non-Trial Dispositions in Connection with the Restriction on the Internet Access by Smart TVs: Focus on New Direction for Regulating Smart TV Services.”
