Seongyong Park focuses his practice on representing clients in litigations involving corporate, labor, family and China-related matters. He currently serves as the head of Bae, Kim & Lee LLC's Asset Management & Succession Center. His recent experience includes handling inheritance disputes involving Korea's leading conglomerate families, divorce proceedings of construction company owners and foreign clients, and succession planning matters for mid-sized corporations. He also successfully represented 5 major domestic financial institutions in a landmark trust litigation against a trustee concerning completion guarantees.

Mr. Park has also acted for prominent Chinese clients, including China Eastern Airlines and Pacific Links, in litigation and advisory matters in Korea. He contributed as a co-author to BKL's Chinese-language guide to Korean civil and criminal procedure, tailored for Chinese clients.

Prior to joining BKL in March 2020, Mr. Park served for a decade as a judge, presiding over a wide range of cases at the Eastern Branch of the Busan District Court, the Incheon District Court, and the Incheon Division of the Seoul High Court. From 2014 to 2019, he was dedicated to family and non-contentious matters, such as divorce and inheritance cases, at the Seoul High Court (Incheon Division) and Incheon District Court. He also handled major corporate litigation while serving at the Seoul Central District Court and was recognized as an outstanding judge during his tenure at the Incheon District Court.

In addition to his practice, Mr. Park is actively involved in academia and public service. Since 2022, he has served as an adjunct professor at Seoul National University School of Law. He also sits on the boards of the Construction Technology Education Center (since 2023) and the Construction Industry Social Contribution Foundation (since 2022).
