Overview

Jiwon Woo focuses his practice mainly on advisory and litigation services in the areas of compliance management, internal control, financial regulation, and corporate restructuring.

Mr. Woo earned LL.B. from Yonsei University's College of Law and J.D. degree from Yonsei University Law School. He has been practicing law since joining Bae, Kim & Lee LLC in 2017 after completing his three years of military service as public service advocate.

Since joining BKL in 2017, Mr. Woo has advised on the improvement of compliance systems, the preparation of responsibility maps of major financial holding companies and banks and corporate restructuring (including rehabilitation, bankruptcy and workouts), handling various matters in financial and general civil litigations.

Represented Heavy Industries Company A in the case seeking compensation for damages arising out of accounting fraud
