Overview

Hyukjin Im's main practice areas include energy infrastructure, corporate merger and acquisition, inbound and outbound investment, general corporate laws, and China. Since graduating from Seoul National University School of Law in 2016, Mr. Im began working as an attorney at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC in 2016.

Mr. Im earned a B.A. degree in business administration from Yonsei University in 2011 and an LL.M. from U.C. Berkeley School of Law in 2024. Mr. Im passed the 45th Certified Public Accountant Exam in 2010 and then worked at KPMG Samjong Accounting Corp. Thereafter, he gained experience related to China while working at the Shanghai office of BKL.

Advised Blackrock on its investment in PV power generation business in Korea
Advised Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation on the feasibility of 400MW wind farm project in Boualapha, Laos and advised the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on various domestic and foreign feasibility analyses including feasibility analysis of the 4th generation highway in Colombia
Advised on various China-related issues including joint venture in China, sale of Chinese subsidiary, and liquidation of an entity in China
