Hyo Jung Yi is a patent attorney at Bae, Kim & Lee IP. Since joining the firm in 2025, she has been working mainly in the field of mechanical engineering.

Ms. Yi performs various patent application procedures including patent and utility model applications and office action responses in the fields of secondary batteries/renewable energy, machinery, and production technology. She also handles patent dispute-related tasks such as advice and trials, on behalf of domestic and foreign clients such as companies, universities and research institutes.

She graduated from Hongik University, Department of Architecture, followed by building her career at Samsung C&T for 6 years. She passed the Korean Patent Bar Exam in 2022.
