介绍

Yonghyun Hwang has handled major criminal cases and compliance matters that attract public attention. His practice focuses on corporate and economic crimes, advising clients on the Serious Accidents Punishment Act and responding to their accidents, capital market and financial crimes, and compliance.

Mr. Hwang earned his LL.B. from Seoul National University and completed the 44th training course at the Judicial Research and Training Institute, Supreme Court of Korea. He earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) degrees from Seoul National University and the University of California, Los Angeles in the U.S. In addition, he obtained a Ph.D. in Law from Seoul National University with a dissertation titled 'Criminal Law Issues and Legislative Proposals Regarding the Serious Accidents Punishment Act.' He also served as a member of the bar examination committee.
