概要
Sungwon Chang is a police officer-turned-attorney who led efforts to reform the Korean investigative system and oversaw frontline investigations. Mr. Chang graduated from Seoul National University College of Law and completed the 34th class of the Judicial Research and Training Institute. During his 20-year police career, he held a wide range of key positions in Korea's police investigation system, including chief of investigation divisions at frontline police stations, head of the Investigation Structure Reform Team at the Korean National Police Agency, a policy planning position at the National Office of Investigation, and chief of local police stations. His primary area of practice is criminal law. Drawing on the advanced expertise and accumulated know-how he acquired through many years of experience in the police force, he now handles responses to criminal investigations and criminal cases through thorough fact-finding and sharp legal review and analysis.
