Jiyoung Park mainly focuses her practice on legal advice and litigation related to criminal cases encompassing corporate crimes, finance, intellectual property, environment, fair trade, taxes, etc.
Since she was commissioned as a prosecutor in 2000, Ms. Park has accumulated holistic, hands-on experience in modus operandi of Prosecutor's Office and investigations: she immersed herself in investigations into and trials of various cases including corruption, environment, finance, securities, and taxes as a front-line prosecutor at Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office and other DPOs; trained newly commissioned prosecutors as a professor at the Institute of Justice; and overhauled laws and regulations on investigation procedures as the head of the Prosecution Reform Taskforce under the Supreme Prosecutors' Office of the Republic of Korea. In particular, Ms. Park has gained prowess in the field of intellectual property. She headed investigations into cases involving intellectual property, technology leakage, and patent infringements as a senior prosecutor at the Criminal Department VI of Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, a specialized department in charge of crimes related to IP and culture, and as a deputy chief prosecutor at Daejeon District Prosecutors' Office, which is designated with handling patent crimes. She has also been serving as a member of Korea Copyright Commission from April of 2019.
Drawing on her experience and expertise accumulated over the past 23 years of serving the public as a prosecutor, Ms. Park endeavors to provide great legal service as an attorney who can communicate actively with her clients and relate to their stories.
