概要
Eungkyung Jo is a foreign attorney at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC whose practice focuses on international arbitration and cross-border litigation. Drawing on her dual qualification and professional experience in Europe, she has a particular focus on cross-border matters involving European parties.
Ms. Jo has experience in international commercial disputes across a range of industries, including construction and infrastructure, energy, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, M&A, luxury goods, and defence. She has worked on arbitrations conducted under the ICC, LCIA, SIAC, Swiss, and KCAB Rules. She also advises on and participates in cross-border negotiations and settlement discussions with foreign counterparties.
After completing the Advanced Programme in Investment Arbitration, Ms. Jo gained experience working on investor-State arbitrations under the ICSID Rules. She has also worked on international sports disputes, including arbitrations before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
Prior to joining BKL, Ms. Jo worked on international arbitration and cross-border disputes at Schellenberg Wittmer in Geneva and Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan in Paris. She is fluent in Korean, English, and French, with working proficiency in Spanish.
