Jaehyeon Lim provides legal advice on matters such as tax law amendment and interpretation, and tax appeals, drawing on his extensive expertise and experience in the field of taxation – including tax policy development, tax appeals, and customs enforcement.
Mr. Lim started his career in the public sector after passing the 34th National Higher Civil Service Examination on Government Administration. He served as Standing Commissioner at the Tax Tribunal, and as Director General for Property and Consumption Tax Policy, Director General for Income and Corporate Tax Policy, Director General for Tax Policy, and Head of the Tax and Customs Office at the Ministry of Strategy and Finance. He retired as Commissioner of the Korea Customs Service.
