Overview
Hyeon Gyu Park’s practice mainly focuses on investigations into various regulatory institutions, and advice and litigation involving criminal cases, as well as corporate, securities/finance, virtual assets, and tax matters.
Mr. Park was appointed as a prosecutor in 2005 and served for 20 years until February 2025 at various frontline prosecution offices, including the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, where he handled a wide range of investigations and trials in areas such as special investigations, finance, securities, taxation, food, and pharmaceuticals. In particular, through his roles as a prosecutor at the Financial Investigation Department of the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors’ Office, legal advisor at the Korea Exchange, chief prosecutor of the Tax Crime Investigation Department at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office, and capital market investigation planning director at the Financial Services Commission, he has developed a high level of expertise in financial and securities crime investigations, taxation, and virtual assets.
