Chang Hyun Yu is a patent attorney at Bae, Kim & Lee IP. Since joining the firm in 2024, Mr. Yu has been in charge of patent application in the mechanical engineering area.

Mr. Yu performs tasks such as filing procedures of patents and utility models, responding to office actions, searching and analyzing and filing third party submissions, on behalf of domestic and foreign clients such as companies, universities and research institutes, focusing on the fields of naval architecture, automobiles/mobility, secondary batteries/renewable energy, and construction machinery.

Mr. Yu graduated from Seoul National University, Department of Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering. He passed the Korean Patent Attorney Bar Exam in 2023.
