Mr. Geonhwi Choi is an attorney at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC, where his primary areas of practice include IT, broadcasting and telecommunications, information security, personal data protection, and compliance. 

Mr. Choi earned his LL.B. from Yonsei University and J.D. from Pusan National University School of Law. He previously served in the Investigation Division II of the Personal Information Protection Commission, where he supported investigations and enforcement actions concerning personal data breaches and infringements involving various data controllers, including large corporations and IT service providers. He also acted as a litigation officer in related administrative lawsuits. 

Subsequently, he worked at the Investigation Planning and Coordination Division of the Korea Media and Communications Commission, where he investigated violations of the Telecommunications Business Act, including cases involving global AI service providers. He also oversaw legal and regulatory matters within the investigation bureau, including the review of prohibited practices under the Telecommunications Business Act and proposed legislation on online platform regulation.
