Hyoryang Im's primary practice areas include civil, criminal, and petition matters.

Until his retirement in 2026 after serving as a Presiding Judge of the Suwon District Court, Mr. Im served as a judge for 18 years, during which he handled a wide range of judicial matters, including civil, criminal, family, insolvency, and provisional remedy proceedings.

In particular, while serving in the Civil Senior Division of the Seoul Central District Court and in the senior divisions of the Seoul Northern District Court and the Ulsan District Court, Mr. Im adjudicated various preliminary injunction cases involving corporate control disputes, financial derivatives, and class actions.

In addition, Mr. Im served at the National Court Administration as Director of Planning 1 and Director of Planning 2, where he performed judicial administrative duties. From 2023, he served for two years as a Senior Research Judge at the Supreme Court, exclusively assigned to a Supreme Court Justice, during which he conducted in-depth research on and handled numerous appeal cases before the Supreme Court.
