Cholung Choi's practice primarily focuses on mergers and acquisitions, general areas of corporate law, disputes over commercial matters and management control, private equity, and finance. Having graduated from Seoul National University School of Law and passed the first bar exam, Mr. Choi spent three years as a judge advocate for public service at the Ministry of Justice and worked at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC from 2015 and 2022. He graduated from the New York University School of Law (LL.M.) in 2020 and was admitted to the New York bar in 2023 before rejoining BKL in 2024. Mr. Choi also worked as a legal executive at a fintech company and securities company as part of his experience as an in-house counsel.
