Andrew Chongseh Kim

Andrew Chongseh Kim is a U.S. litigator, former law professor, and Senior Foreign Attorney at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC (BKL). Based in Seoul and licensed in Texas and Illinois, he advises multinational corporations, financial institutions, investors, and high-net-worth individuals on complex cross-border disputes, investigations, regulatory matters, and strategic transactions involving the United States and Korea.
Mr. Kim has represented multinational corporations in international arbitration, commercial disputes, antitrust and regulatory investigations, and cross-border matters requiring coordinated U.S. and Korean legal strategies. His practice encompasses competition and antitrust, energy, construction, life sciences and medical devices, and private wealth matters.

Mr. Kim graduated with honors from Harvard Law School and earned a triple major in Physics, Economics, and Anthropology from the University of Chicago. Before joining BKL, he practiced with an international law firm in Houston and served as a law school professor.

Mr. Kim's legal scholarship and commentary have been cited in briefs submitted to the United States Supreme Court, congressional hearings, and leading publications including The New Yorker, Bloomberg Businessweek, NBC News, 60 Minutes, and the South China Morning Post.

Mr. Kim is a Member of the Council of Korean Americans (CKA), a leading organization of Korean American leaders in business, law, government, and academia.
