Overview
Hyunkyu Jun earned a B.A. in Economics from Yonsei University, with double minors in Business Administration and Applied Statistics, and a J.D. from Seoul National University School of Law before joining Bae, Kim & Lee LLC as an attorney.
With a particular focus on electricity industry regulation, Mr. Jun advises clients on regulatory compliance, licensing and permitting, and M&A and financing transactions across the energy and natural resources sector. Mr. Jun also advises on and undertakes projects relating to institutional changes, including projects commissioned by government agencies and public institutions concerning legislative amendments.
Mr. Jun provides advice across a broad range of areas spanning traditional energy sources, including coal, nuclear, and LNG, as well as renewable energy and emerging energy industries. Mr. Jun is also actively engaged in energy-sector dispute resolution, including applications for injunctive relief and litigation.
