Pro Bono

A TRADITION OF SERVICE AND COMMITMENT.

In addition to offering a full array of high caliber legal services for the business client, Bae, Kim & Lee LLC has for many years placed emphasis on professional contributions to the greater community in Korea. Pro bono work is a regular and systematic area of our practice, and all our professionals are, as a rule, encouraged in these efforts. Service for worthy social causes is valued as a matter of core principle?inspired in part by experiences of many of our attorneys in pro-democracy movements of the past.

The Firm’s pro bono work in recent years has included advocacy for needy and disadvantaged groups, including disabled persons, political refugees and foreign “guest workers”, as well as victims of natural disasters. Our work often includes research and argumentation for legislative initiatives to improve the existing regulatory environment, and to advance assistance programs. A number of our lawyers also serve educational institutions, public interest groups and other non-profit bodies.

The Firm instituted a Pro Bono Committee in 2002. Currently the Committee is constituted as follows.
